9 mm Wide Mouth Vials and Closures are our recommended screw thread vials. These vials are autosampler compatible and offer a 40% larger opening than 8-425 thread vials, simplifying pipetting and other routine functions. Amber glass vials are perfect for storing samples that are sensitive to light exposure. Clear glass vials are great for testing the solubility or dispersability of materials, allowing you an unhindered view of the solution.

Polypropylene as a vial material is a good choice for protein analysis because normal borosilicate glass vials are known to absorb some types of analytes such as proteins, peptides, and amines.

Aijiren polypropylene screw micro vials can be used in most standard gas and liquid chromatography autosamplers. The PP micro vial is constructed from high-quality polypropylene, a chemically inert and durable plastic material known for its excellent chemical resistance. This material ensures that the vial does not react with or contaminate the sample. The vial features a threaded screw neck, which allows for a secure and airtight seal when the cap is screwed onto the vial. This feature is crucial to prevent sample evaporation and contamination. Aijiren PP vials combine the robustness of TPX PMP with the benefits of glass or PP micro inserts.

The slit allows ambient gas to equalize the gas in the vial so that a vacuum is not created in the vial from the tight seal around the needle.
If coring or clogging from a narrow needle or needle deflection from highly durable septa material is a concern, then choosing a pre-slit septum is a better choice.
A PTFE/Silicone with a slitted septum allows for easier needle penetration as well as to release of the vacuum that forms when a large volume of sample is withdrawn from a vial.

9mm PP Screw Top Vial can be made of polypropylene or polymethyl pentene (PMP). Polypropylene is the most popular plastic material. Polypropylene vials have heat resistance of up to 135 degrees Celsius and are commonly used in chromatographic experiments.PMP has higher heat resistance – up to 175 degrees Celsius – and is transparent, which increases the visibility of the sample inside the sample bottle.
