11mm snap top autosampler vials are suitable for Agilent, AB Sciex, Brukers, Techcomp, PerkinElmer, ThermoScientifics, Shimadzu, Waters, CTC autosampler and other rotating or robotic arm samplers and autosamplers.

The 11mm snap-top caps are made of high-quality polypropylene. The caps have a roll-edge or snap-on shape. The snap-top caps provide a secure seal that minimizes evaporation even for volatile samples. PTFE/silicone septa are the product of choice for most HPLC and GC applications where resealability and high purity are critical. Ideal for applications where ease of needle insertion is important. Silicone septa have strong re-sealing properties and can still maintain good sealing performance after multiple injections; PTFE is currently a material with good chemical conditions and can withstand strong acids and alkalis. After the two materials are combined, the bottle can be used for various laboratory purposes such as sealed sampling and chemical storage.

Crimp caps squeeze the membrane between the edge of the glass bottle and the crimped aluminum cap. This creates a good seal and prevents evaporation. Crimp cap vials require a hand crimper tool to perform the sealing process.

A 2ml snap autosampler vial is widely used in HPLC applications and can be used almost as universal sample vials for autosamplers, including sample vials with automatic operation. The vial features an 11mm snap ring closure, which provides a secure and leak-proof seal. These 2ml snap autosampler vials are recommended for short-term sample storage and non-volatile samples because the seal is not as secure as a crimp or screw thread seal. Vials have a 40% larger opening than standard aluminum seal vials for easier sample filling and to reduce the chance of bent or broken needles during sampling. Compared with crimp top vials, snap vials can be capped and uncapped easily without tools, making it more convenient to use.
