What is the benefit of Bonded Septa?

Bonded septa are molecularly fused to the cap, eliminating the use of glues and preventing the septa from falling out or being pushed into the vial during high-pressure sampling.

Can these vials be used for TOC analysis?

Yes, our vials meet the cleanliness requirements for TOC analysis. We recommend our clear vials for the lowest possible background interference.

Are 24-400 vials compatible with all autosamplers?

The 24-400 finish is a universal standard for large-volume vials. However, always check your specific sampler's tray dimensions for the vial height (e.g., 20ml vs 40ml).

Is there a difference between 5.0 and 7.0 type glass?

5.0 type glass (Expansion 51) and 7.0 type glass both offer excellent resistance, but 5.0 is typically preferred for even higher thermal shock resistance in extreme conditions.

How should I store light-sensitive samples?

We recommend using our Amber EPA vials, which provide significant light-blocking properties for compounds that degrade under UV or ambient light.
