The Best Seal for ND9 Vials

These 9mm Short Thread Caps are made to fit perfectly with our ND9 Wide Opening Vials. The short thread design makes it easy to seal the cap tightly with just a quick half-turn. This makes the lab 40% more efficient than using regular screw caps.

We only use PTFE and silicone that are of chromatographic grade. The PTFE layer (the one that faces the sample) offers the best chemical resistance, and the Silicone layer makes sure that the seal stays intact after many injections.

Why Choose Bonded and Pre-slit Caps?

Getting rid of the two big problems with autosampler operations: septa push-through and vacuum formation.

Bonded Technology (No Push-Through) A blunt needle or too much pressure can push the septum into the vial in standard caps. The septum and the cap are chemically fused together by our Bonded Caps. This keeps the septum in place, which stops instruments from getting stuck and samples from being lost.

Pre-slit Septa (Vacuum Protection) A vacuum can form inside the vial when you inject quickly or draw a lot of samples. Pre-slit septa let air equalize right away, which makes sure that the sample draw volume is always the same and stops the needle from bending.

Color Coding Strategy You can get it in blue, red, black, green, and yellow. You can quickly tell the difference between sample batches, QC standards, or different types of solvents by using different colors instead of reading labels.
